Design
Samsung Galaxy J3 Emerge is made of silver plastic and has a removable back panel which is very similar to J3. It also has a strip metal across the top of the panel crossing the camera sensor and adding flair and beauty to the phone.
The speaker is embedded in the right edge of the phone, the speaker is placed towards the top and angled slightly to direct sound upwards.
The power button of the Samsung mobile device is placed on the right side, and a volume rocker is on the left. The bottom houses the micro USB charging port and a 3.5mm audio jack
Display
The Samsung Galaxy J3 Emerge TFT capacitive touchscreen display occupies approximately 69.8% of the smartphone body, setting the screen display size at 5.0 inches with screen resolution at 720 by 1280 pixels and screen density, PPI at 294 pixels per inch.
At the maximum brightness, the screen is easy to see in sunlight and provides a color rich display.
Performance
Samsung Galaxy J3 Emerge runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system with performance backed by a 1.5GB RAM and Octa-core processing unit clocking at speeds of 1.4 GHz.
The Internal storage size of the Samsung phone is available at 16GB with expandable memory via microSD card of up to 256GB.
The Samsung’s heavy touchwiz UI aids the running of the phone, the touchwiz makes visual alterations to app icons and transitions and bakes in some new settings and features
Camera
Samsung Galaxy J3 Emerge comes with 5-megapixel for the rear or primary camera with f/1.9 aperture while an 2-megapixel front or secondary camera with f/2.2 aperture is stationed for additional camera support.
A smaller aperture on smartphones creates much better natural pictures than a wider aperture because it lets in more light.
The 5MP rear camera is nothing to write about even in good light condition. However with a stable hand, it can take a fairly clear picture with minimal noise or blur. The auto focus is sluggish and at times you will have to adjust it manually.
The smartphone records 720p video at 30fps although not very stable and tends to lose focus easily. The selfie camera gives a good and clear shoot in good light condition but not so fantastic in low light condition.
Battery Capacity and Sensors
Galaxy J3 Emerge is powered by a Non-removable Li-Ion that is able to store up to 2600mAh battery charge to power all the above features and more.
The Samsung mobile device is able to last up to 408 hours on stand by and 23 hours o talk time and about 33 minutes of runtime streaming full-screen video over LTE at maximum brightness.
